About SizzleandDrizzle :

SnD is an account of everyday audition in my kitchen. A telltale of my surrender to the failures, the successes, the hitches and pleasures, the philosophical talks  and the always joyous gatherings as life in a kitchen plays out.

About me :

By profession I am a  Chartered Accountant (Read with prefix – boring). But I fancy calling myself a cook, hostess, blogger, DIYer, and a traveler.

After spending several work hours in the office and crunching numbers and data sheets for the last 6 years since i was 20, I knew it was time to pause and look at other things I loved to do.  Simultaneously while looking at incessant recipe websites and keeping a track of them in a folder or on Pinterest, I realized it was time I started my own blog. To combine two things that i liked most : 1. Cooking, baking, creating and 2. Organizing stuff – to make things easily available.

With a fantastic ever-ready-to-click-photos husband a.k.a Akshay, organizing part would be quite easy.

And as far as the cooking/baking part goes, well all my folks at home and my dear friends will have to bear the brunt of  my experiments for a long time, till I get that perfect taste and document the determinable recipes!

🙂

  2. Hi Rutvika,
Came across your blog from a link on CAL. It seems, we have a lot in common… both CAs (I know.. boring), stay in Mumbai, love baking, blogging… I blog at http://soniazdelights.blogspot.in/ I would also like to go to Le Cordon Bleu sometime for formal education in baking. Share your experiences with me.
Wish you a Happy New Year and Happy Baking and Blogging in 2014!!!
    Cheers, Sonia

  6. Landed up on your blog through the JLF tweet I posted.
Having gone through the course, I can say that CA’s is definitely one of the most boring course among the choice in commerce. MBA being the more glamorous counterpart. I also feel as a career too, it’s a laborious and monotonous work! Although technically I’m not really a foodie, just followed you to mark out what need to try!

    🙂
