The conversions will be specifically handy when :
- You want to scale down a recipe. Say you have a recipe that calls for 3/4th cup of butter, and you want to scale it down to half. How do you do that? Simple! 3/4th of a cup is equal to 12 tablespoons. So half of it would be 6 tablespoons.
- American recipes call for butter measured in sticks. We don’t get butter sticks here. But no problem, you will find butter measurements below.
- Ever wondered what a dash really means? It means 2 or 3 drops (liquid) and less than 1/8 teaspoon (dry)!
